This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Salt Lake County People Search is privately run. We cannot retrieve records, certify copies, verify where anyone lives, or delete data from a government or third-party database. Contact the custodian that keeps the record for those services. Call 911 in an emergency. If you believe someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local law enforcement.
Where to Request Records
Use the correct Salt Lake County or Utah custodian for the record you need:
- Deeds, liens, plats, and property chains: the Salt Lake County Recorder, covered under Salt Lake County public records
- Court cases by party name: use the Salt Lake County court records name search routes for Utah district and justice courts
- Birth and death certificates or marriage and divorce abstracts: see vital records in Salt Lake County; original marriage license copies come from the County Clerk
- Voter status and voter lists: see Salt Lake County voter registration records
- Government, school, historical, and property directories: see Salt Lake County people directories
- Records not posted online: send a request under Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA) to the agency that created or keeps the record
