When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not keep a copy of your searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond.

We use this data in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages help visitors. Privacy on Linked Websites
Links may lead to Salt Lake County and Utah government portals, records offices, library collections, or third-party search services. Information submitted on an outside website is subject to that provider's privacy policy, not this one. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.

Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. Apart from those cases, we do not share visitor information.
How We Safeguard Information
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because the site has no user accounts, it stores no account password or personal profile for you.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted personal data, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Rights
Your residence and the law that applies may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or control certain personal data held by a website. For covered consumers and businesses, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, addresses access, deletion, and opt-out rights subject to its thresholds and exemptions. Utah Code Title 63A, Chapter 19 separately sets privacy duties for Utah governmental entities. Because we retain little visitor information, we can generally check our contact mailbox and server logs for a request. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Salt Lake County, a municipality, a court, or a Utah agency remain beyond our control, and any correction, restriction, or removal request must go to the relevant custodian. Neither statute automatically erases a lawfully public deed or court record.
